Community Safety Day

Community Safety Day is a fun interactive community event for both adults and kids. We will have a bike rodeo cone course for our young bike riders to have fun navigating curves, turns, straight aways, and common road signs. Young bike riders can bring their bikes to enjoy the obstacle course. Please bring a helmet with your bike to ride on the course. All enrolled Platteville Elementary and Gilcrest Elementary School 2nd Graders will receive their bikes at the event.

This year we will have a cool fire hose game where kids will aim the fire hose water into windows to put out the flames. Our smokehouse education trailer will be on display to learn more about home fire safety and how to use fire extinguishers. In addition, there will be a fun and challenging agility course for kids.

There will be an ice cream truck on-site (non-dairy options too) dishing out free ice cream for the first 200 servings. After that, you can purchase your own tasty treat.
